Pricing

Know the number before we touch the work

Every Fairlight service starts from a published price, and we put your exact fee in writing before anyone opens your books — no running clock, no invoice you didn’t see coming.

No surprises
What your quote covers — one fee
  • Books, closed monthlyin
  • Returns, filed annuallyin
  • Check-ins, every quarterin
All-in, from$800/mo

The entry plan: everything above, one number, agreed before we start.

How we price

A fair number on day one — not a high one with a discount stapled on

We don’t quote high so we can look generous later. The price you see is the price we’d give a friend, and your exact fee is locked in writing before any work begins. What you’re buying is the outcome — so a long phone call or an extra question costs nothing, and the number only changes if you approve a change in scope first.

Your first step never goes to waste either: pay for a diagnostic and that amount comes off the engagement it leads to.

Things we don’t charge for
  • Time on the clock$0
  • Fees you didn’t approve$0
  • Getting set up$0
  • Picking up the phone$0

One agreed fee covers the work. That’s the whole invoice.

All-in-one

One plan for your books, tax, and advice

Everything on a single bill. The second number is your rate when you prepay the year. Want it line by line? See the All-In-One details.

The value

What doing it in pieces really costs

Here’s the same scope of work priced two ways: assembled from vendors, or run by one team.

Buying it apart
  • A bookkeeper you found online
  • A tax preparer you see in spring
  • An advisor a few hours a month
  • Nobody holding the full picture

Every provider bills you separately — and the seams between them are where deductions get missed.

One firm, one bill
  • CPA-checked monthly close — in the plan
  • Returns and planning — in the plan
  • Advice all twelve months — in the plan
One team, one bill from $800/mo

One relationship, one invoice, zero seams.

Our pricing guarantee

Why a surprise invoice can’t happen here

  • The price is yours to approve first — You sign off on the fee in writing before we begin. Published numbers are where the conversation starts; your written quote is what you actually pay, and it moves only with an approved scope change.
  • We never run a meter — No hourly billing here, so a longer call or one more question never adds to the bill.
  • Every first step pays back — Any paid review or diagnostic credits toward the work that follows. Nothing you spend up front is wasted.
  • A miss is ours to fix — If the work falls short of what we agreed, we make it right. That’s the bar the engagement holds to.

Pricing FAQ

The questions that come up before a quote

Is the published price what I’ll actually pay?

Treat it as the floor for the simplest version of the work. On a short call we scope your situation, write the exact fee down, and that figure holds unless the scope itself changes — with your approval first.

My situation’s more complex than a tier — then what?

Complexity gets priced into the written quote, not discovered on an invoice. Extra states, K-1s, or cross-border forms are named and priced in the proposal, so the fee you approve is the fee you pay.

Is it cheaper to bundle, or to prepay the year?

Both. Bundling into the all-in plan costs less than assembling the services separately, and paying a year up front takes roughly another 10% off. Beyond that we don’t play discount games — the list price is already the honest one.

Do I get the paid-review fee back if I move forward?

Yes. The $225 Cross-Border Tax Snapshot credits in full toward any engagement you start within 60 days, and you keep the written plan either way.

Ready for your actual number?

Fifteen minutes on the phone and your exact fee goes into a written proposal. You owe nothing unless you move forward.
